How to submit a Support Request

Before you submit a Support Request, please read this section because it contains suggestions that may help you to answer your own question.

Also, by doing some of this troubleshooting, even if you do not solve the problem, you will be able to submit a more detailed report. Submitting a more detailed support request will enable us to provide you with faster and better support.

We are very interested in providing a useful and easy to use application. Therefore, we appreciate all suggestions and comments that will help our software become better. So, please send us your suggestions (to the email address below) for improvements in the application, as well as to the help file and documentation.

When reporting a problem, please be as specific as you can.

If, after following these suggestion for finding the solution, you are unable to resolve your question we invite you to submit a Support Request.

1. Obtain the latest version of the program
Ensure that you have the latest version of the program for which you are requesting support. The problem you are experiencing may have been fixed or changed in the latest version. Go to the Downloads Page to see if there is a later version than the one you currently have.
2. Read the Help File

Read the Frequently Asked Questions, QuickStart, Brief Tutorial, and Tips and Hints help topics in the Help Files, as they contain much of the information about using this application. What you are experiencing may be answered in the Help File.

3. Submit a detailed Support Request

Please include the following in your email.

  • Name and Version Number of the Alcoda Software program
  • Windows Version: 95, 98, NT, ME XP
  • Name of your working application (example: Your email program)
  • Error Message details
  • Exact problem and sequence of events that reproduce the problem

Then submit a detailed Support Request by sending an email to Alcoda Support.

Alcoda Software will only be able to correct problems (or offer solutions and workarounds) if those problems are reproducible on our computers, so your clear explanation will be very helpful. We want to hear about any problems that you have. However, those problems that are reproducible by performing the same steps or operations are going to be more easily solved.
