Your Custom User Dictionary contains words that
you have added that were not contained in the standard spelling dictionary. You
can use your old Custom User Dictionary with Version 5, if you wish to save
those added words.
To retain your Custom User Dictionary, close the
Alcoda program and find the
program folder, C:\Program Files\D C AL CODA\AppName by default. The
Custom User Dictionary is named default.adu, by default.
Find default.adu, unless you renamed it. Save and
move a
copy of default.adu in the new Alcoda program folder, C:\Program
Files\Alcoda\AppName by default. You may be prompted that you are
overwriting the existing default.adu, click OK because you want to use your old
default.adu. Now, when you open the Alcoda program your old Custom User
Dictionary will be used.
